Experience

Since our founding in 2023, we’ve delivered over 40 C(PQ)MUs to transmission system operators across Europe. On this page, you’ll discover insights into some of these exciting projects and the valuable impact they’re creating. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our partners for their trust and for the remarkable insights we’ve achieved together.

50Hertz Transmission (DE):
Pilot Project

Our journey began alongside 50Hertz Transmission GmbH, one of Germany’s transmission system operators. In late 2023, we deployed 5 C(PQ)MUs in their grid and quickly advanced both hardware and software through rapid iterations and continuous innovation.

50Hertz Transmission (DE):
PV Park Monitoring

We kicked off 2025 by installing two C(PQ)MUs at the site of a 50Hertz grid connectee. These units are now monitoring harmonic levels in a large photovoltaic installation, ensuring precise insights into PowerQuality and the PV park's compliance.

Austrian Power Grid (AT): C(PQ)MU Benchmark

Together with Austrian Power Grid C-Sens had another successful test of the C(PQ)MU application in an high voltage substation and comparison with an RC-Divider based measurement.

TransNet BW (DE):
HVDC Commisioning

TransnetBW tested 2 C(PQ)MUs during the commissioning of the UltraNet HVDC over the second half of 2024. The test campaign included a detailed comparison to PQ measurements performed on conventional measurement transformers and on RC-Dividers.

50Hertz Transmission (DE):
Grid Monitoring

After a successful pilot project running from 2023 to 2024, 50Hertz Transmission is taking the next big step: deploying 10 C(PQ)MUs across its grid. Starting in 2025, 50Hertz can precisely monitor PowerQuality throughout its entire network—capturing data across the full IEC frequency range up to 9 kHz. This marks a significant leap forward in ensuring stability, efficiency, and reliability for the power system.

TenneT (NL):
Oscillation Source Identification

Within 5 working days, TenneT and C-Sens were able to successfully install 20 C(PQ)MUs throughout TenneT‘s grid (in 110 kV, 150 kV, 220 kV and 400 kV stations). From April 2025 and on, the C(PQ)MUs monitor power quality of voltage and current up to 9 kHz and also analyze unwanted frequency oscillations to track their origin.
